Job summary

AT&T is hiring Installation Technicians to install and activate state‑of‑the‑art services at customers’ homes and small businesses in Florence, SC. You will work independently, meet new people daily, and be rewarded for quality workmanship, safety, and reliability.

You’ll handle high‑speed broadband, Wi‑Fi and voice installations, climbing ladders when needed, and maintaining flexibility to cover evenings and weekends. Training is provided to support growth and success.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid state driver’s license.
• Ability to lift and move up to 60 lbs; ladders may weigh 50–60 lbs.
• Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Able to climb ladders and work in small spaces or aloft.

Responsibilities

• Install and activate high‑speed broadband, Wi‑Fi and voice services at customer sites.
• Provide best‑in‑class service and solve installation issues independently.
• Work in customers' homes and businesses; troubleshoot while advancing the customer experience.

Our Installation Technicians earn between $17.25 - $31.00 hourly. With our amazing wage opportunities, our average starting earnings begin at $35,906. per year. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.

What’s a typical day like? You’ll work independently at our customer’s homes and businesses as a trusted expert, installing the latest technology for high-speed broadband, Wi-Fi, and voice services. Whether you’re putting in a new line, climbing a ladder or simply plugging in and activating a wifi network, one thing is true, no two days will be the same.

• Lift and move up-to 60 lbs – some of our ladders weigh 50-60 lbs
• Weigh less than 325 lbs., required for laddersafety.
• At times work in smallspaces or aloft (up to 28 ft.)
• Be available for overtime, emergency callouts and holidaywork.
• Identify wire and cablecolors.
• Qualify on pre-employmentassessments.
