Job summary

AT&T is seeking an Installation Technician in Evansville, Indiana to install and activate high‑speed broadband, Wi‑Fi, and voice services for customers in homes and small businesses. You’ll work independently, meet new people daily, troubleshoot issues, and be rewarded for delivering great service.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, ability to lift up to 60 lbs, and flexibility for evenings, weekends, and overtime. Training and ongoing support are provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Valid state driver’s license is required.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
• Ability to work in confined spaces and at height (up to 28 ft).
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Install and activate high‑speed broadband, Wi‑Fi and voice services at customers’ homes and businesses.
• Work independently as a trusted expert delivering quality service.
• Meet and assist customers daily while solving problems to ensure satisfaction.
• Identify wire and cable colors and follow safety practices.

OurInstallation Techniciansearn between$23.08 and $32.21 hourly.With our amazing wage opportunities, our average starting earnings begin at$47,996 per year. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.

• Work a flexible schedule, including evenings andweekends.

• Possess a valid state driver’slicense.

• Lift and move up-to 60 lbs – some of our ladders weigh 50-60 lbs

• Weigh less than 325lbs., required for laddersafety.

• At times work in smallspaces or aloft (up to 28 ft.)

• Be available for overtime, emergency callouts and holidaywork.

• Identify wire and cablecolors.

• Qualify on pre-employmentassessments.

• Have a High School Diploma or GED
