Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Reliable transportation to Frederick campus.
  • Ability to lift equipment and work in physically demanding environments.
  • Comfortable standing for extended periods.
  • Strong communication and teamwork.
  • Ability to follow detailed processes and maintain documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare installation work by labeling, organizing, bundling, and staging fiber and copper cabling.
  • Transport materials and equipment throughout the data center campus.
  • Support structured cabling installations, including routing and documenting cable runs.
  • Assist installation teams with deploying servers, network equipment, and racks.
  • Verify completed work using documentation and quality control processes.
  • Support vendor installation teams during rack-and-roll and deployment activities.
  • Follow established installation procedures and safety standards.
  • Maintain organized work areas and document installations.
  • Collaborate with engineers and operations teams to support infrastructure expansion.
  • Perform material handling and equipment movement following safety protocols.

Brooksource is seeking Infrastructure Delivery Installation Technicians to support one of the world's largest cloud infrastructure environments. In this role, you will help install, deploy, and maintain critical data center infrastructure that powers global cloud services. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with experience in data centers, structured cabling, network installation, electrical cabling, warehouse operations, material handling, or other hands‑on technical environments.

Successful candidates will receive on‑the‑job training while working alongside experienced installation teams in a highly collaborative environment. Responsibilities
  • Prepare installation work by labeling, organizing, bundling, and staging fiber and copper cabling.
  • Transport materials, hardware, and installation components throughout the data center campus.
  • Support structured cabling installations, including routing, securing, and documenting cable runs.
  • Assist installation teams with deploying servers, network equipment, racks, and supporting infrastructure.
  • Verify completed work using shared documentation and quality control processes.
  • Support vendor installation teams during rack‑and‑roll and infrastructure deployment activities.
  • Follow established installation procedures, safety standards, and operational processes.
  • Maintain organized work areas and accurately document completed installations.
  • Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and operations teams to support ongoing infrastructure expansion.
  • Perform material handling and equipment movement while following all safety protocols.
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Reliable personal transportation to and from the Frederick campus.
  • Ability to lift equipment and work in physically demanding environments.
  • Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively on a team.
  • Ability to follow detailed processes and maintain accurate documentation.
Preferred Experience

Candidates from the following backgrounds are highly encouraged to apply:

  • Structured cabling technician
  • Low‑voltage cable installer
  • Electrical cabling
  • Verizon or telecommunications field technician
  • Warehouse operations
  • Manufacturing or assembly‑line environments

Prior experience working in a data center is strongly preferred but not required.

Shift Schedule

Candidates should be available to work one of the following schedules:

  • Monday – Thursday (4-day workweek)
  • Tuesday – Friday (4-day workweek)

Additional shift details will be discussed during the interview process.

Physical Requirements
  • Lift and move equipment up to 40 pounds independently.
  • Participate in team lifts for equipment exceeding 40 pounds.
  • Bend, lift, climb, stretch, reach, and stand for extended periods.
  • Work safely around active construction and installation activities.
  • Safely use ladders and elevated work platforms as needed.
