Job summary

AT&T is seeking an Installation Technician to independently install and activate the latest technology at customers’ homes and businesses in the Atlanta area. You will be a trusted expert, delivering seamless broadband, Wi‑Fi and voice services while providing exceptional customer experiences.

You’ll meet new people daily and solve problems on the job, with ongoing paid training and opportunities for career growth within a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• Valid state driver’s license is required.
• Able to lift up to 60 lbs and work at heights.
• Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Identify wire and cable colors.
• Pass pre-employment assessment.

Responsibilities

• Install and activate high-speed broadband, Wi‑Fi and voice services at customers’ homes or businesses.
• Provide best-in-class service and problem-solve to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Meet new people daily and deliver seamless installation with professionalism.
• Work safely in ladders and confined spaces while adhering to safety guidelines.

As an Installation Technician, you’ll work independently at our customer’s homes and businesses as a trusted expert, installing the latest technology for high-speed broadband, Wi‑Fi, and voice services. You’ll have the opportunity to meet new people every day while solving problems and being rewarded for doing great work. Whether you’re putting in a new line, climbing a ladder or simply plugging in and activating a wifi network, one thing is true, no two days will be the same.

Our Installation Technicians earn between $17.26 and$31.00 an hour. Our average starting salary is $64,480 per year. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers.

Want to be considered? You’ll need to:

• Work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
• Possess a valid state driver’s license
• Lift and move up-to 60 lbs – some of our ladders weigh 50-60 lbs
• Weigh less than 325 lbs., required for ladder safety
• At times work in small spaces or aloft (up to 28 ft.)
• Be available for overtime, emergency call outs and holiday work
• Identify wire and cable colors
• Qualify on pre-employment assessment
