The Carter Architectural Millwork team is seeking an Installation Specialist to install custom wood products, cabinetry, solid-surface materials, and wall panel systems on commercial projects.

You will uphold Carter Lumber’s standards of quality craftsmanship, collaborate with project managers and trades, and be willing to travel across Georgia and CAM’s service area with occasional overnight stays.

• Experience installing commercial cabinetry or architectural millwork.

• Valid driver’s license and driving record.

• OSHA and First Aid certifications are a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Read and interpret architectural plans, shop drawings, and installation details.
• Field-fit, trim, level, and securely fasten products to meet project requirements.
• Complete installations accurately and efficiently per CAM quality standards.
• Coordinate with project managers, field supervisors, general contractors, and other trades.
• Identify field conditions or installation concerns and report them promptly.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Care for company tools, equipment, vehicles, and materials.
• Complete punch-list and warranty work when required.
• Follow all company and jobsite safety requirements.

A Carter Architectural Millwork Installation Specialist is responsible for installing custom wood products, wood moldings, cabinetry, solid-surface materials, wall panel systems, and other architectural millwork on commercial construction projects.

The ideal candidate takes pride in quality craftsmanship, works well with others, and understands the importance of representing Carter Architectural Millwork professionally on every jobsite.

Qualifications and Skills

• Previous experience installing commercial cabinetry, architectural millwork, wood moldings, solid-surface products, or wall panel systems is preferred.
• Ability to read plans, shop drawings, and field measurements.
• Working knowledge of installation tools, equipment, and fastening methods.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift and maneuver materials and equipment commonly used during installation.
• Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.
• Must be willing and able to travel to project locations and stay overnight as required. Travel may include work throughout Georgia and other states within CAM’s service area.
• Current OSHA and First Aid certifications are a plus.
