Job summary

United Rentals is seeking an Installation Specialist (Service Tech II) in Decatur, GA to perform HDPE pipe fusion, bypass installations, teardowns and minor repairs. You will travel to customer sites, operate fusion machines, pumps and other equipment while delivering exceptional service.

The role requires 1–3 years in construction, HS diploma, travel up to 95%, and a focus on safety and teamwork. Training is provided for HDPE fusion as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years in construction preferred.
• HDPE fusion experience preferred; training provided.
• Basic understanding of pumps is beneficial.
• 80–95% travel required; extended time away from home.
• Strong customer service, teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs frequently.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable record.

You will be responsible for HDPE pipe fusion, bypass installations and teardowns, as well as operating various equipment, including lulls, forklifts, fusion machines, and pumps, while collaborating with your assigned team.
