Job summary

Siemens Healthineers AG is seeking a technically skilled MR installation specialist to set up, calibrate, and support MR system deployments across customer sites in the United States.

The role requires 3+ years in MR installation, strong customer communication, and willingness to travel up to 100%, including weekends. You will collaborate with vendors and factory teams to maintain schedules and install quality, with a company vehicle provided for frequent site visits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in MR installation and service preferred.
• Willing to travel overnight up to 100% and may require weekend work.
• Must reside within one hour of a major airport in the United States.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Organized, self-sufficient and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Background check, drug screen and valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Set-up and calibration of MR system installations per factory instructions.
• Provide expert installation support to field service organization and communicate advanced issues.
• Keep installation projects on schedule while ensuring quality.
• Evaluate room layout and installation quality of mechanical install vendors.
• Troubleshoot and resolve vendor and factory issues; order parts; feedback to stakeholders.
• Travel with customer stakeholders or visit sites as needed.

Your role

• You start-up and calibrate of MR System installations in accordance with factory instructions and specifications
• You provide expert level installation support to field service organization and communicate and upscale technical issues and delays
• You keep installation projects on schedule while assuring quality
• You evaluate room layout and installation quality of our mechanical install vendors
• You troubleshoot, correct vendor and factory errors and mistakes; order missing or damaged parts; provide feedback to vendors, factory, project management and planning
• You travel with customer-facing stakeholders (e.g., those required to visit a customer/business partner site or interact in-person with customers at any conference or meeting) OR visit on-site, whether regularly or occasionally, at any Siemens Healthineers location.

Your expertise

• Structured introduction and skill training 3+ years experience
• You have experience with MR installation and service preferred
• You have the ability to travel overnight 100% of the time and you may require weekend work and live near a major airport
• You have superb customer and communication skills
• You are organized, self-sufficient and capable of working with little or no supervision
• You can successfully demonstrate thorough/ advanced knowledge of a technical or specialty area
• This position requires a background check, drug screen & valid drivers' license

Company Vehicle Included – Personal Use Permitted: This role is governed by our Fleet Safety Policy. To be eligible for employment, applicants must hold a valid driver’s license in the state they reside and may not have any prior DUI/DWI convictions or pending DUI/DWI charges or other serious moving violations (unless such a restriction is prohibited by state/local law).

Salary Range: $67,550 - $91,000 & Robust Benefits - Range. Salary can change based on location & experience.
