Holman’s Upfitting division seeks an Installation Mechanic in Blue Mound, TX. The role installs aftermarket equipment on new vehicles in a safety-first environment, tests installed parts, and references Work Orders for placement and function.

A background in electrical/mechanical work and 12V circuits is required, with 1–3 years experience or technical school enrollment. Compensation starts at $20/hour with a 6:00am–2:30pm weekday shift.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of electrical, mechanical, and equipment assembly experience or current enrollment in an accredited technical school.
• Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools.
• Understand electrical schematics and 12V circuits.
• Must be able to troubleshoot problems.

Responsibilities

• Install new aftermarket equipment on new vehicles in a Safety-First environment.
• Test installed parts prior to final inspection and verify function.
• Reference Work Orders for placement, orientation, and function of equipment.
• Communicate suggestions and errors to relevant departments for process improvement.
