Job summary

Merric Millwork & Seating is seeking a Traveling Installation Helper to join our installation team. This role involves working with experienced installers on high-end hospitality, multifamily, and commercial projects across the United States.

The position is hands-on and requires travel, reliability, and a commitment to quality workmanship. If you enjoy physical work, learning the commercial millwork industry, and representing Merric professionally, we’d like to talk with you.

Qualifications

• Construction or carpentry experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Comfortable working on construction sites.
• Reliable transportation to Merric's facility.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assist lead installers with the installation of architectural millwork, cabinetry, countertops, and specialty wood products.
• Load, unload, and transport materials and tools safely.
• Read and follow shop drawings and installation instructions.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely.
• Help ensure installations meet Merric's quality standards.
• Communicate professionally with customers, general contractors, and team members.
• Complete work in accordance with project schedules and company safety requirements.
• Travel extensively to project sites throughout the United States.

Travel Requirements
