Lynn Rodens in Boston, MA is seeking a hands-on Installation & Service Technician to install, service, and maintain ceiling-track patient lift systems in hospitals and long-term care facilities.

This full-time role offers guaranteed 40-hour workweeks, travel to regional and out-of-state project sites, and a benefits package including health, dental and vision coverage, 401(k) matching, paid time off, holidays, life and disability insurance. Qualifications

• Three to five years of construction, carpentry, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, installation, or closely related experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to use common construction tools safely.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license with a good driving record.
• OSHA 10 preferred; OSHA 30 a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Install ceiling-track lift systems and related patient-handling equipment.
• Conduct site surveys and review drawings and room layouts.
• Audit installations for quality, safety, and company standards.
• Coordinate materials, deliveries, storage, subcontractors, and project documentation.
• Troubleshoot equipment, perform repairs, and conduct preventive maintenance.
• Train hospital and long-term care staff on proper equipment operation.
• Maintain an organized company vehicle, tools, and parts inventory.
• Travel to regional and out-of-state project sites, including overnight travel.

What You Bring

• Ability to work safely from ladders, scaffolding, and scissor lifts and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license with a good driving record.
• OSHA 10 preferred; OSHA 30 is a strong plus.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
