Job summary

Solenis, a global leader in water and hygiene solutions, seeks a field service technician to install and service Solenis equipment at multiple sites across the United States. You will prioritize safety, coordinate with sales teams, and maintain strong customer relationships.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, experience in the pulp and paper industry, and hands-on electrical/mechanical skills. Some travel and remote work flexibility may apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
• Experience in pulp and paper industry is required or highly desirable.
• Hands-on electrical, mechanical and laboratory skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Ensure personal safety at customer sites and comply with EH&S policies.
• Manage daily service workload across multiple sites.
• Maintain productive relationships with Solenis sales teams.
• Maintain contact with on-site customers and respond to their needs.
• Protect company assets, including plant, fleet, equipment and tools.
• Install Solenis equipment, including pumps, emulsifiers, feed systems, generators and devices.

You will be responsible for:

• All aspects of personal safety, both at the customer location and in compliance with all Solenis policies regarding environmental, health and safety.
• Managing daily service activity workload at multiple sites.
• Maintaining a productive relationship with Solenis sales teams.
• Maintain contact with customer on site, communicating effectively, politely, and responding to their needs, to maintain good customer relationships
• Maintain and safeguard company assets, including plant, fleet, equipment, and tools.
• Performing equipment installation of Solenis-owned Pulp & Paper and industrial water treatment equipment including:
  • PID controlled multi pump systems
  • ASA size emulsifiers
  • Spectrum XD3899 feed systems
  • Generox chlorine dioxide generators
  • Sonoxide
  • OnGuard branded devices
  • Dry and emulsion polymer feed systems

What You'll Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent, further education preferred (electrical, mechanical, laboratory focus)
• Technical experience in pulp and paper industry
• Expertise/Skills in electrical, mechanical,laboratory functions
• Able to work several projects in parallel
• Solid mechanical and plumbing aptitude and skills
• "In mill", manufacturing, lab testing, maintenance and/or electrical experience preferred

The expected compensation range for this position is between $58,030.00 and $85,107.00 plus discretionary bonuses. The exact compensation may vary based on your skills, experience and other factors permitted by law.
