Job summary

Suburban Enterprises, Inc. is seeking an Install Technician to assemble electrical components, install products at customer sites or in production environments, and follow drawings, instructions, and safety procedures.

The role is primarily based in Manitowoc, WI with a daily commute to the jobsite. You will read blueprints and wiring diagrams, use hand and power tools, follow work instructions, and document installation details while keeping safety and quality at the forefront.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license and auto liability insurance.
• Knowledge of basic computer programs (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Ability to follow detailed written or verbal instructions and apply common sense.
• Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math.
• Ability to problem solve.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electrical components according to drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
• Install assembled products at customer sites or within production environments, as required.
• Use hand tools, power tools, measuring devices, and installation equipment safely and correctly.
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Follow all safety, quality, and company procedures.
• Document work performed, including installation reports, checklists, and quality records.

The Role - Install Technician

We are currently seeking an Install Technician to join our team! In this role, you will use various techniques to install electrical assemblies, including conduit and device mounting, drilling, grinding, and cutting. As an Install Technician, this role requires mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to follow drawings, work instructions, and safety procedures while working independently or as part of a team. Please note, this role will be primarily located in Manitowoc, WI and will require a daily commute to the jobsite.

What You'll Do

• Assemble electrical components according to drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
• Install assembled products at customer sites or within production environments, as required.
• Use hand tools, power tools, measuring devices, and installation equipment safely and correctly.
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.

What You Bring (Required Experience)

• High school diploma or GED.

• Previous experience bending conduit.
