Job summary

Zoom Drain Delaware is seeking an experienced Install Lead Technician to repair and replace drain and sewer pipes in residential homes and light commercial buildings. Youll lead field work, install pumps and fixtures, and ensure safety and quality on every site.

The role offers a competitive pay rate of $25-35 per hour, with benefits, career advancement, and a culture that rewards performance and customer service excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience in excavation including pipe installation, pipe bursting, and pipe relining preferred.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe job site.
• Proper operation of excavation equipment such as a backhoe.
• Willingness to "get in the trenches" and expose lines by hand.
• Utilization of basic tools as well as sewer cleaning equipment, such as a sewer jet or Picote milling machine.
• Professional demeanor when onsite to ensure customer comfort and satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Install drain and sewer pipes
• Install drain and sewer pumps and fixtures (toilets, sump/ejector pumps)
• Cut pipes to desired lengths
• Cover pipes with earth or other materials
• Grade and level trench bases, using tamping machines and hand tools
• Excavation, to lay pipes
• Use of hand tools, digging equipment

Pay Rate:
