Job summary

Landscape America in Boston, MA is seeking a hands-on landscape maintenance assistant to support foremen on commercial properties and learn the trade through hands-on training.

Responsibilities include hauling material, mulching, digging, planting, irrigation and hardscape work, with time tracked through the ASPIRE Crew Mobile App. Experience is preferred but not required; reliability and a positive attitude are valued.

Role Description

Develop and construct outdoor spaces by providing landscape maintenance support to a variety of our outstanding commercial clients’ properties. Learn the trade, tools, equipment, safety guidelines, and the Landscape America way.

Role Responsibilities

• Prepare given tasks by the foreman on client’s properties diligently, efficiently, and to Landscape America’s quality standards
• Hauling material, mulching, digging, planting
• Installing, repairing irrigation systems
• Installing hardscapes such as walls and patios
• Utilize ASPIRE Crew Mobile App for time tracking
• Maintaining a polite, friendly, and responsive demeanor with employees andcustomers

Ideal Candidate

• Experience is preferred but not necessary
• Learn and follow foreman, safety guidelines, and company procedures
• Work well with multiple crews dailyReliable and have a positive attitude

Requirements

• Valid Driver’s license and ability to obtain Department of Transportation Medical Card
• E-Verify
• Ability to work in various weather conditions
• Reliable transportation, travel may be required
• Ability to perform physical tasks for up to 10 hours a day
• Ability to lift 40 lbs
• Available to work snow (90% of snow events)
