Job summary

Top Tech Electric & Plumbing is seeking an Install Coordinator in Richardson, Texas, to manage installations from sale through completion, coordinating crews, permits, materials and equipment.

You will ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget, communicate with sales and install teams, and uphold safety and quality standards. This role requires strong organization and proactive problem-solving with a team-first mindset.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of plumbing and drain installation across gas, water, sewer, and general plumbing scopes.
• Experience scheduling, dispatching, and supervising field crews on budget and on deadlines.
• Familiarity with the permitting process, inspections, and coordination with engineering and city / county officials.
• Strong organizational skills and comfort maintaining logs, sign-in / out sheets, and spreadsheets for tools, materials, and fleet.
• Clear, proactive communicator able to bridge sales and field operations.
• Commitment to safety, code compliance, and a clean, professional, team-first culture.

Responsibilities

• Plan installation schedules and coordinate crews, installers, apprentices, and contractors.
• Maintain a current roster of available installers for deploying the right team.
• Staff each job with one lead installer and two apprentices, adjusting as needed.
• Dispatch installers and apprentices with task reviews and bid sheet briefings.
• Keep every project on schedule and within its approved budget.
• Monitor job progress, safety, and code compliance to Top Tech Electric & Plumbing standards.
• Resolve on-site issues and keep stakeholders updated throughout the project.
• Pull permits on jobs requiring them and manageAs-builts, CAD drawings, and documentation.
• Track permit status and ensure timely approvals to prevent delays.
• Monitor material spending and fleet/tool usage; log activities for records.
