Job summary

Bath & Cabinet Experts in Indianapolis is seeking an Install Assistant to learn a skilled trade and grow with a fast‑growing home improvement company. You will assist veteran installers with bath/shower installs, setup, demolition, and space preparation, while gaining hands-on carpentry, plumbing, and construction experience.

We provide paid, on‑the‑job training, all tools and PPE, and a strong benefits package including medical, dental, vision, PTO, holidays, and a 401(k) with 4% company match.

Qualifications

• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Strong desire to learn a skilled trade and grow in the home improvement industry.
• Relevant experience in construction, carpentry, remodeling, renovation, etc. is preferred.
• Ability to accurately measure using basic tools (tape measure, level, etc).
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
• Ability to routinely and safely lift/move items weighing over 50lbs.
• Ability to use power tools as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Lead Installer with bath and shower installations.
• Support daily job tasks including set up, demolition, clean up, loading/ unloading work truck, measuring and cutting materials, framing, and preparing the space for the install.
• Learn and develop hands-on trade skills in carpentry, plumbing, and construction.
• Help keep the company truck clean, organized, and stocked with all necessary equipment and materials.
• Participate in team meetings and hands-on training sessions.
• Deliver a high level of customer service to ensure a 5-star experience.
