Job summary

Hamilton is seeking an Install and Dismantle Specialist to join our Indianapolis-based team for trade show booth setup and tear-down. You will install and dismantle exhibits at conventions and local venues, load and unload client displays, and work safely from lifts, ladders, and platforms.

A reliable team player with a strong work ethic is essential, and the role may require overtime, weekends, and occasional nights. Experience with hand tools is a plus and reliable transportation is required.

Qualifications

  • Ability to read basic blueprints and floor plans, helpful but not necessary
  • Experience using basic workshop hand and power tools
  • Organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
  • An effective team player, but also capable of working independently
  • Strong work ethic
  • Ability to maintain a favorable attendance record
  • Ability to collaborate with other departments
  • Flexible schedule is required; job may require some off-hour working times including nights, early mornings, and weekends

Responsibilities

  • Install & dismantle trade show exhibits including displays, signs, carpets, supports, and other items for conventions and trade shows at the Indiana Convention Center, local venues, and our Indianapolis facility
  • Loading and unloading client displays and equipment into trucks to prevent damage
  • Safely work from lifts, ladders, and platforms at different heights
  • Acts as an ambassador for the company, provides quality workmanship, and has excellent communication skills and a positive attitude
  • Willing to work weekends and extended hours based on deadlines

You MUST be open to overtime, be dependable, have a flexible schedule, and be on time to be successful.

Experience with hand tools is a plus! You will need reliable transportation.

We are specifically looking for someone with installation experience. Experience in the trade show industry is a plus!
