Job summary

Comcast is seeking an installation and electrical helper to support the Solar Panel Installation team. You will assist electricians during solar installations, handle conduit, wiring, and racking, and help ensure safety and customer specifications on-site.

Working at heights and with various hand and power tools, you will follow safety codes, maintain an organized job site, and attend to duties with punctuality, including nights and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2–5 years of relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist electricians and installers during solar installations.
• Bend conduit, strip and terminate wire, and keep the site organized.
• Mount panels and racking, and wire solar systems.
• Use hand and power tools to install racking.
• Service solar systems as needed.
• Lay out conduit, disconnect switches, and junction boxes.
• Perform work at heights on roofs with proper equipment.

Job Summary

This job provides support to the Solar Panel Installation team as an installation and electrical helper. It involves working at heights, handling various tools and equipment, and ensuring that all installations meet safety standards and customer specifications. Works with moderate supervision/guidance. Is accountable for individual results andimpact on team.

Job Description

• Assisting electricians and installers during solar installations


• Carrying out tasks such as bending conduit, stripping and terminating wire, and maintaining an organized job site


• Assisting in the installation of solar panel systems, including mounting panels and racking, and wiring


• Using hand and power tools to install racking


• Servicing the solar system as needed


• Laying out and installing conduit, disconnecting switches and junction boxes correctly


• Performing jobs from high places (i.e. on roofs) including climbing ladders with proper equipment and materials


• Adhering to all quality and safety codes


• Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.


• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Salary:

Base Pay: $21.00
