The role will focus on installing rooftop mounting systems and solar panels on flat or low-slope roofs, ensuring safety, quality, and compliance with manufacturer specifications.

Working with electricians and project managers, you will read and interpret blueprints, apply standard practices, and travel to project locations as required to deliver

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 2+ years of commercial solar installation or roofing experience.
• Experience with TPO/EPDM/metal roofs or modified bitumen preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret installation plans.

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Solar Roof Installer to join our team for commercial photovoltaic (PV) installation projects. The ideal candidate will have experience working on commercial roofing systems and installing rooftop solar mounting systems, panels, and related equipment safely and efficiently.

This position involves working at heights, collaborating with electricians and project managers, and ensuring all installations meet company standards, manufacturer specifications, and local building/electrical codes.

Responsibilities

• Install commercial rooftop solar PV systems on flat and low-slope roofs
• Assemble and install solar racking and mounting systems
• Secure solar panels, wiring management, and associated hardware
• Work with electrical crews during system wiring and commissioning

Qualifications

• Knowledge of commercial PV systems and rooftop mounting systems
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment safely
• Comfortable working at heights and in varying weather conditions
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding work
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred

Preferred Certifications

• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification, SST Card
• NABCEP certification or solar training experience
• Forklift, lift equipment, or fall protection certifications
