Job summary

NORY is seeking a prolific Social Media Manager with a strong Instagram focus to own our Instagram presence. You’ll tell our story through video and imagery, highlighting how we make robotic learning fun for kids and how parents engage with our programs.

The role is remote with 10–20 hours weekly and a pay range of $20–$40 per hour, experience‑ and portfolio‑driven. NYC area candidates who can visit campsites for live content during the season are highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven track record growing brand Instagram accounts, ideally in parenting/education spaces.
• Multimedia production skills with expert short-form video editing.
• Exceptional communication and empathetic storytelling.
• High-agency and entrepreneurial mindset in a startup.

Responsibilities

• Instagram strategy, calendar development, growth with community focus.
• Video-first content creation: shoot, edit Reels for reach and retention.
• Captions and storytelling tying values to parents’ needs.
• Graphic design for announcements and educational content.
• Track engagement metrics and iterate content strategy.
