Job summary

You will plan and deliver lessons, assess student progress, and collaborate with parents and staff. A Bachelor's degree and valid Texas teaching certificate with subject endorsements are required to join this team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university and valid Texas teaching certificate.
• Endorsements or required training for subject and level assigned.
• Strong knowledge of curriculum and instruction; ability to manage behavior.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned to district curriculum and TEA guidelines.
• Plan and use instructional strategies reflecting student learning styles.
• Assess student progress and modify curricula in collaboration with IEPs.
• Use technology to strengthen the teaching/learning process.
• Communicate with parents, students, and staff regarding progress and needs.
• Create a positive classroom environment and manage student behavior.
• Participate in staff development and school committees.
