Qualifications

• Experience tutoring or teaching reading or test prep (ISEE/SSAT/SAT/ACT).
• Love working with children and teens with a friendly, upbeat personality.
• Pursuing a degree in English, Education, Literature, Creative Writing, or a related field.
• Passionate about education and making learning fun and meaningful.
• Excellent communication skills and strong content knowledge in language arts.
• Adaptable, organized, and excited to be part of an innovative and growing company.
• Enjoy working in a team and collaborating to support student success.

Responsibilities

• Teach reading comprehension, grammar, vocabulary, and writing strategies tailored to standardized test formats.
• Develop engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans and adapt instruction for individual student needs.
• Administer and analyze diagnostic tests to track progress and refine instruction.
• Communicate regularly with parents on student progress and growth plans.
• Collaborate with the Learning Experience Manager to enhance curriculum and instruction strategies.
• Promote a fun, positive, and growth-oriented learning environment.
