Job summary

Kaizen Lab Inc. is seeking dedicated and experienced Soccer Coaches for the Carter G. Woodson School in Winston-Salem, NC. The ideal candidates will have a passion for soccer and a commitment to developing student athletes both on and off the field.

Your responsibilities include planning and organizing practices, developing strategies, fostering a positive team environment, and ensuring player safety. Previous coaching experience is preferred, and a valid Driver's License is required.

Qualifications

• Previous coaching experience at the middle or high school level preferred.
• Strong knowledge of soccer rules, techniques, and strategies.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with students, parents, and school staff.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred (or willing to obtain).
• Valid Driver's License.
• Must pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and conduct practice sessions and games.
• Develop game strategies and analyze team performance.
• Teach and demonstrate soccer skills and techniques.
• Foster a positive and inclusive team environment.
• Always promote sportsmanship and fair play.
• Manage team logistics, including scheduling, equipment, uniforms, and driving small bus.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and administration.
• Monitor academic progress of student-athletes.
• Ensure safety and well-being of all players.
• Uphold values and mission of the school.
