Job summary

Bishop Dunne Catholic School in Dallas is seeking qualified teachers for the 2025-2026 academic year to fill a range of secondary courses. Successful candidates will plan lessons, manage grades, and lead advisory groups while performing standard administrative duties.

Candidates must have or be eligible for a Texas teaching certificate, strong communication and technology skills, and at least two years of secondary teaching experience in the relevant content area.

Qualifications

• An undergraduate degree in teaching content area or a related field from an accredited university.
• A valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements for the subject and level assigned is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal communications skills and solid technology skills for instructional and professional tasks.
• At least two years' experience teaching in the secondary level and in-depth knowledge of the subject matter.

Responsibilities

• Develop daily lessons that meet the goals of the classes.
• Complete grading, maintain an advisory group and lead advisory group meetings.
• Perform all basic administrative duties (attendance records, comment writing).
• Report to the assistant principal and align with school policies, philosophy, organization and curriculum.
