Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or Mathematics Education is required.
• Valid Minnesota teaching license (or eligibility) in Secondary Mathematics is required.
• Ability to teach multiple secondary mathematics courses.
• Strong classroom management and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging mathematics instruction aligned with Minnesota Academic Standards.
• Teach secondary mathematics courses such as Intermediate Algebra, Geometry, Advanced Algebra, Statistics.
• Develop lesson plans to promote conceptual understanding and real-world problem solving.
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learners' needs.
• Use formative and summative assessments to monitor progress and adjust instruction.
• Foster a positive classroom culture that promotes student engagement and growth.
• Incorporate technology and innovative instructional strategies into math learning.
• Collaborate with colleagues to analyze student data and strengthen curriculum alignment.
