Columbus Technical College is seeking a dedicated Adjunct Instructor to teach Phlebotomy courses. Qualifications

  • Current Certification in Phlebotomy (AMT, ASCP, ASPT).
  • One year of current experience in the field.

Responsibilities

  • Provide classroom, laboratory, and clinical instruction to phlebotomy students.
  • Develop lesson plans, course outlines, and instructional materials in accordance with state standards.
  • Assess student progress in achieving course objectives and provide timely feedback.
  • Maintain program certification requirements and all necessary documentation.
  • Ensure safety and security protocols are met in training labs and clinical settings.
  • Participate in faculty meetings, staff development training, workshops, and conferences.
  • Assist with student recruitment, retention, and job placement efforts.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and administration to support academic goals.
  • Respond promptly to administrative requests and adhere to college policies.
  • Engage in professional development and involvement in relevant organizations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
