Job summary

Northside Catholic Academy is seeking dependable Substitute Teachers to support our faculty when regular teachers are absent. This role may involve students from Early Childhood through 8th grade, following lesson plans, maintaining a positive classroom environment, and supporting students throughout the school day.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in a comparable field, experience teaching via remote platforms, valid state licensure (out-of-state licenses accepted), and 1–3 years

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a comparable field.
• Experience teaching through remote learning platforms.
• Valid state teaching licensure (out-of-state licenses accepted).
• 1–3 years teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Implement regularly scheduled teacher's lesson plans or consult with staff if unavailable.
• Maintain a clean, respectful, and orderly classroom in accordance with procedures.
• Maintain records and draft attendance notes and incidents.
• Follow school rules, policies, and procedures.
• Ensure student safety across all activities.
• Engage with a diverse student population across grade levels.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff and support the school mission.
