Job summary

Ivy Tech Community College of Indiana is seeking adjunct faculty to teach courses on a semester-by-semester basis. You will deliver classes, develop and maintain course materials, and use technology to enhance learning in line with college policies and objectives.

You will monitor student performance, provide interventions, maintain records, and support student success within a diverse campus environment. This role is not a full-time position and requires commitment to FERPA and college

Qualifications

• Must have strong working knowledge of current technologies appropriate to area of instruction.
• Meet faculty credentials as outlined in the ASOM 7.1 for the specific area(s) of instruction.
• Commitment to diversity of people, styles, and views.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates student learning by delivering assigned classes in accordance with College policy and course objectives.
• Makes optimal use of available technology to enhance instructional methods.
• Develops/maintains course outlines, syllabi, lesson plans, assignments, tests, and materials.

Education

Master's degree in physics or related field with 18 graduate credits in physics-related courses
