Responsibilities

• Establishes and enforces rules of behavior for students in the classroom, administrative regulations and Board Policy.
• Prepares lessons, units and projects to complete learning objectives and selects instructional materials.
• Instructs assigned classes at designated times and locations; communicates clear objectives.
• Adapts teaching methods to meet students' interests and learning styles; encourages exploration of learning opportunities.
• Creates and grades assessments; tracks academic progress and holds parent-teacher meetings.
• Maintains positive relationships with students, parents, coworkers and supervisors; manages student behavior.
