Join our team to create lesson plans, use data to drive instruction, collaborate with families and staff, manage classrooms, and participate in meetings and school events. Salary starts at $53,450 with additional compensation based on performance and leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university required (transcripts show degree).
• Appropriate state teaching certification completed or in process.
• Minimum of two years teaching experience with diverse student backgrounds.
• Track record of success in the classroom and collaborative attitude.

Responsibilities

• Create, internalize, modify and prepare lesson plans in line with curriculum with grade-level teams.
• Use data to responsively teach to mastery of academic skills.
• Work with students, families and colleagues to support student progress.
• Uphold classroom management techniques and a firm classroom foundation.
• Assist with diagnostic and progress monitoring testing.
• Monitor student progress and adapt teaching strategies to meet objectives.
• Update student performance trackers to guide lesson plans.
• Participate in school, departmental and parent meetings.
• Participate in school events and activities beyond regular hours.
