Responsibilities

• Plans and implements a program of instruction aligned with district goals and course of study.
• Keeps current in subject matter knowledge and assists in curriculum revision and material selection.
• Establishes classroom rules and discipline; supervises students as needed.
• Maintains positive public relations and communicates with parents; participates in meetings.
• Pursues ongoing professional growth through workshops and inservice training.
• Evaluates student progress using multiple assessment methods and adjusts instruction accordingly.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Maintains confidentiality of records and information in line with ethics and laws.
