Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent.
• Possession of valid teaching certification (as appropriate).
• Minimum of one to three years successful teaching experience (may include Student Teaching Internship).
• Command of grades/subject-specific content and learning theory including motivation, reinforcement, evaluation, and feedback techniques.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement a program of instruction aligned with CSUSA goals and student needs.
• Create effective lesson plans and utilize diverse instructional strategies to maximize time on task.
• Present subject matter clearly and provide real-world, application-based examples.
• Maintain accurate student records and review records to understand student abilities and needs.
• Differentiate instruction and use diagnostic assessments to monitor progress and provide reports.
