Young World Physical Education is seeking a Boys Basketball Coach for Dirksen Junior High School for the 2026-2027 school year. Responsibilities

• Coach’s individual participation in skills for excellent achievement.
• Plans and schedules regular practices throughout the season.
• Encourages academic success by maintaining student eligibility records.
• Works with the athletic director in scheduling contests.
• Recommends purchase of equipment, supplies, and uniforms.
• Plans and conducts tryouts for the sport.
• Maintains necessary paperwork for the sport.
• Enforces discipline and sportsman-like behavior.
• Oversees safety conditions of facility & equipment.
• Participates in professional growth activities.
• Assists in planning annual recognition program for athletes.
• Submits all media requests to the Director of Communication.

Skills
