Job summary

Unlimited Instruction, LLC seeks a dedicated Instructional Assistant to support students with special needs in San Francisco schools. You will work under certified teachers to deliver instructional services, monitor progress, and reinforce IEP goals.

The role requires assisting with lessons, supervising students, and maintaining classroom behavior in diverse settings, including early education to high school levels. A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree or 48 college credits OR
• Paraprofessional exam score may fulfill minimum qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Instruct students individually or in small groups under guidance of a certificated teacher.
• Assist in implementing IEP goals for each student.
• Prepare/adapt lessons and activities as directed by the teacher.
• Monitor student behavior and report to classroom teachers as appropriate.
• Supervise students during activities and transitions; assist with mobility as needed.
• Assist with preparation of classroom materials and supplies.
