Sunshine Learning Miami Inc. in Miami, FL, is seeking a passionate High/Middle School Science Teacher to inspire curiosity and bring science to life in a dynamic, supportive classroom.

You will plan and deliver engaging science lessons for middle and high school students, design hands-on labs, assess progress, and communicate with families while maintaining a safe, inclusive environment and participating in staff development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science Education or related field required.
• Florida teaching certification or eligibility in Science (6-12) preferred.
• Prior classroom teaching experience at the middle or high school level preferred.
• Strong knowledge of life, physical, and earth sciences.
• Excellent communication, classroom management, and organizational skills.
• Passion for student success and a student-centered teaching approach.
• Ability to differentiate instruction for diverse learners.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and deliver engaging science lessons for middle and high school students
• Design and facilitate hands-on laboratory experiments and STEM-based activities
• Assess and monitor student progress
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environmentCommunicate regularly with parents, guardians, and school administration regarding student development
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events
