Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from accredited university
• Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements or related training and work experience for certification waivers
• Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area assigned

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with district curriculum and accommodations for diverse learners
• Plan and use appropriate instructional strategies and materials per TEA guidelines
• Assess student learning and adjust instruction accordingly
• Collaborate with special education staff to modify curricula per IEPs
• Coordinate with staff to set instructional goals and supervise aides/volunteers
• Maintain and organize reports and records required by district policies
