Qualifications

• Certified, Qualified and Highly Qualified as defined by the Course Code(s).
• Ability to work cooperatively with parents, school districts and agencies to support students.

Responsibilities

• Plans and implements instruction aligned with district courses and student needs.
• Keeps current in subject matter and assists in curriculum revision and materials selection.
• Maintains classroom environment, manages behavior, and supervises students as needed.
• Communicates with parents and the public to promote the school program.
• Pursues professional growth through workshops, conferences, and inservice training.
• Evaluates student progress using multiple assessment methods and adjusts instruction accordingly.
