Responsibilities

• Plans a program of study that meets the needs, interests and abilities of individuals to ensure Success for Every Student.
• Reports to work on time and is prepared for all classes and duty assignments.
• Creates a classroom environment that engages students and enables them to achieve learning objectives.
• Provides an instructional program to meet the needs of all students, including students with disabilities.
• Prepares lesson plans and other documentation as required by the principal or designee.
• Guides learning toward curriculum goals and establishes clear objectives for lessons and projects.
• Establishes learning objectives aligned with RCSS framework and student development.
• Plans and uses instructional methods, resources and evaluation techniques to motivate students.
• Maintains records and safety along with classroom management and order.
