Responsibilities

• Attend professional meetings, conferences, and workshops to maintain professional competence
• Instruct students using standards-aligned content with engaging methods and visual aids

• Set clear short- and long-term instructional goals
• Develop weekly and long-range lesson plans with standards and assessments
• Use data to monitor pupil progress and communicate with parents
• Create and implement student intervention plans as needed
• Maintain classroom management and school policies
• Supervise and support student activities and community involvement
• Abide by state and federal mandates on reporting abuse and neglect
• Other duties as assigned
