Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in elementary education (or eligible to obtain it).
• Valid North Carolina teaching license in elementary education (or in process).
• Employment contingent upon passing a criminal background and reference check; Safe Environment Training upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Integrate values and attitudes that guide students in evaluating and applying content in the light of Gospel teachings.
• Implement the educational mission, philosophy, goals, and objectives of the school.
• Plan, prepare, teach, and interact with students in a professional way that challenges students to reach their individual potential.
• Contribute to a positive Catholic school culture driven by professional and spiritual growth, academic excellence, and collegial collaboration.
• Deliver engaging, interactive lessons tailored to students’ developmental levels.
• Integrate Catholic faith elements where appropriate.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers.
• Develop hands-on learning experiences using research-based instruction and rigorous assessments.
• Maintain ongoing communication and positive relationships with parents, students, and colleagues.
