Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking an enthusiastic Teacher to join our Champions program. You will lead classrooms, implement our curriculum, and create a safe, nurturing environment where children can learn and grow.

You will partner with families, connect with parents, and work with center staff to meet enrollment and engagement goals while upholding licensing standards and the KinderCare mission.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service skills and the ability to stay organized while multi-tasking in a busy classroom.
• Active CDA Credential or meet NAEYC candidacy requirements.
• Approved state trainer preferred.
• 2–3 years Early Childhood Education experience (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred).
• Meet state-specific qualifications for the role or willingness to obtain.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Physically able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors.
• Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and parents.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor teachers in the classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Implement KinderCare’s curriculum in line with each child’s needs.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner and connect with parents to provide the best care and education for children.
• Support center success by collaborating with staff to meet enrollment and engagement goals.
• Build positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, and community partners.
