The Goddard School Eastgate in Bellevue is seeking a School Director to oversee daily operations and lead a team of educators. You will ensure licensing compliance, manage budgets, and drive curriculum implementation of our Wonder of Learning program while fostering strong family and community relationships.

You will mentor staff, uphold high standards of health and safety, and promote a positive, growth-oriented school culture that supports children’s development and families’ needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, or related field.
• Must pass state background checks and meet state education/credential requirements.
• At least 3 years of experience teaching in early childhood education and 2 years in leadership/management in a licensed childcare center or preschool.
• Strong knowledge of child development, early learning best practices and team leadership.
• Effective organization, time management, multitasking and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
• Genuine love for children and commitment to high-quality education.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Inspirational leader and team builder.
• Commitment to professional development and continuous improvement.

Responsabilités

• Lead daily operations while upholding brand, regulatory and policy standards in line with state childcare licensing regulations.
• Hire, train, supervise and support staff; invest in faculty development and coaching.
• Implement the Wonder of Learning proprietary program to spark curiosity and growth.
• Engage families and communities; promote school and maintain high enrollment.
• Manage budget, enrollment targets and resources to support financial health.
• Maintain a healthy, safe, clean learning environment for children, staff and families.
• Lead with a growth mindset to elevate program quality and develop talent.
• Cultivate a positive, collaborative school culture with accountability and excellence.
