Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution required.
• Valid Arizona Elementary Education Teaching Certificate or eligibility to obtain one.
• Valid IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card required.
• Strong understanding of upper-elementary curriculum and instructional best practices.
• Commitment to inclusive practices and meeting diverse learner needs.

Responsibilities

• Create a nurturing, inclusive and developmentally appropriate classroom.
• Build strong relationships with students, families and colleagues.
• Plan and deliver high-quality, standards-aligned instruction in literacy, numeracy, writing, science, social studies and SEL.
• Use data to monitor progress and adjust instruction for individual needs.
• Support positive behavior and classroom routines that promote safety and belonging.
• Collaborate with grade-level teams and participate in ongoing professional learning.
• Maintain accurate records and comply with district, state and federal requirements.
• Contribute to a positive school culture rooted in collaboration and curiosity.
• Model professionalism, empathy and a Kids First mindset in all interactions.
