Responsibilities

• Teaches district approved curriculum and Arizona State standards.
• Instructs students and provides individualized and small group instruction.
• Develops lesson plans and adapts instruction to learner needs.
• Communicates with parents outside classroom days via newsletters, notes, calls.
• Maintains student behavior standards to enable effective learning.
• Evaluates student progress and prepares reports.
• Coordinates with aides, parents, and volunteers on field trips.
• Incorporates technology into lesson plans.
• Maintains rapport with students, staff, and community.
• Upholds confidentiality and ethical standards.
• Other duties as assigned.
