Job summary

A leading art and office supply company is seeking a part-time Watercolor, Acrylic Painting and/or Drawing Instructor to teach classes at the Michaels store in Commerce Township, MI. The ideal candidate has experience in realistic painting and teaching, and must be willing to market their classes. Classes are two hours long, and instructors will earn an hourly rate plus bonuses based on student participation. Certification through Grumbacher is required prior to application.

Qualifications

• Must have the ability to paint and/or draw realistically.
• Experience teaching acrylic painting and watercolor classes preferred.
• Willingness to develop a student base through marketing.

Responsibilities

• Teach art classes at Michaels store in Commerce Township.
• Conduct classes lasting two hours each.
• Help students complete finished paintings or drawings.
