Qualifications

• Evidence of coaching theory/techniques through coursework, prior coaching, or participation.
• Knowledge of high school level sport rules and CIF guidelines.
• Understanding adolescent psychology as it relates to sports participation.
• Ability to maintain safety standards during practices and contests.
• Demonstrated ethical standards in sportsmanship and student interactions.
• Ability to communicate with parents/guardians and school staff regarding issues.
• Knowledge of CIF athletics policies and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Instruct and coach students in the sport indicated.
• Help arrange playing schedules.
• Perform/assist in all coaching responsibilities associated with the position.
• Attend all required meetings and trainings as specified by OAL.
