Responsibilities

• Follows and maintains knowledge of all District policies and procedures.
• Assists in organizational meetings for team prospects and encourages potential athletes to participate in the sport.
• Assesses the players’ strengths and weaknesses.
• Assists in developing an efficient practice schedule and organizes practice time for individual and team development.
• Coaches and instructs players on rules, regulations, equipment, and techniques of wrestling.
• Observes players to determine needs for improvement and creates plans to address weaknesses.
• Monitors student-athlete eligibility and communicates with parents/guardians.
• Chaperones/supervises athletic events as needed.
