Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with teaching licensure and endorsements.
• ASCI Certification required or obtainable.
• Experience in classroom instruction preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, plan, prepare and implement course content, format, structure and schedule.
• Create and implement individualized programs of instruction for students.
• Create and maintain classroom curriculum, lesson plans and learning activities.
• Instruct students in large, small, and one-on-one situations.
• Prepare, administer and grade student assignments and assessments to evaluate progress.
• Communicate student progress and needs with parents/guardians and staff as needed.
• Maintain accurate student records as required by state law and RCS policy.
• Supervise behavior and maintain safety and well-being of students.
• Maintain knowledge of RCS policies and procedures; work professionally with staff and families.
