Job summary

Tempe School District No.3 Frank Elementary in Guadalupe, Arizona is seeking a 4th Grade Teacher to establish a flexible grade program and a supportive classroom environment. The teacher will build rapport with students and parents, motivate learners, and align instruction with state requirements for foundational skills.

Qualifications include a Bachelor Degree and Arizona Elementary Teacher certification (Early Childhood endorsement for Kindergarten).

Qualifications

Bachelor Degree is required.
Arizona Elementary Teacher certification is required (Early Childhood endorsement OR Early Childhood certification for Kindergarten).
Provisional SEI or full Bilingual or ESL endorsement is required.

Responsibilities

Demonstrate teaching skills and knowledge in assigned academic area.
Instruct pupils in state-mandated subject matter and district procedures.
Develop lesson plans and provide individualized and small group instruction.
Evaluate pupil progress and maintain records; prepare progress reports.
Communicate with parents about pupil progress and the school program.
Identify pupil needs and collaborate with staff to address health, attitudes and learning issues.
Create a conducive learning environment with engaging displays and centers.
Maintain professional competence through ongoing professional development.
Select instructional materials and manage inventory; perform other duties as assigned.
