Job summary

EXP is seeking an Inspector to join the Transportation team in Augusta/Columbia County, GA. You will support roadway plan analyses, prepare estimates for payments, and help assemble project proposals as part of an expanding, employee-owned engineering practice.

The role emphasizes collaboration with inspectors and project staff, with focus on site inspection, documentation, and timely reporting. Qualified candidates have a Civil Engineering degree and basic construction knowledge, with

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Construction Management for Transportation project experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Basic construction knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Assist with analysis and review of roadway plans, estimate payments, and project proposal packages;
• Assist with Contractor RFI’s, change orders, and site inspection;
• Responsible for assisting lead roadway inspectors in daily work report creation and documentation.
